PDBMN and Benesh for Beginner Tutor as well as the PDBMN Programme Leader
Since graduating from the Benesh Institute in 1978, Diana has worked continuously in the field of dance notation and reconstruction.
She worked as Company Choreologist for the Scottish Ballet and The Royal Ballet where she recorded and restaged many new and heritage works, notably those of Auguste Bournonville, Peter Darrell, Frederick Ashton, Bronislava Nijinska and Kenneth MacMillan. A period of teaching and examining Benesh Movement Notation resulted in Diana developing some of the teaching materials used by BMN students around the world today. She produced the written word notes and the movement scores in the Royal Academy of Dance’s Examination Syllabi.
