Elena Alava Hilgert

Elena is a community dance artist with over eight years of experience in dance, social circus, and PE. Their passion for dance led them to their MA in Dance Leadership and Community Practice at Trinity Laban.

Elena currently works freelance for different organisations, including the RADiate inclusive dance programme and as an Artist in Residence for Greenwich Dance. They also deliver their own queer dance workshops. Their teaching practice is based on creative contemporary dance, commercial and hip-hop and centres around celebrating creativity and connection.
