Board of Trustees
Living in Germany since 1992, Rachel has been involved with the RAD for over 40 years. For many years until its dissolution in 2006, she was chair of the German RAD Rhein-Main-Saar Regional Panel. Since 2003 she has been an examiner, tutor and mentor for the RAD. Alongside her freelance work, she is completing a master’s degree in classical ballet, specialising in dance pedagogy and educational psychology.
In the past two decades, Rachel has had the opportunity to have countless conversations with students and teachers in many countries. Through these conversations, she feels that she have gained great insight into what members love and most importantly, what their wishes are regarding examination procedures, teacher-training. And, how they (the teachers) can promote the quality the RAD offers in their country, as a form of formal education in the creative arts industry.
She is committed to giving her best to the RAD as a trustee along with applying her skills, expertise and passion in helping to steer the organisation toward even greater success.
