Silver Swans ballet at home with Licensee Hallie Rehwaldt

My website is www.demiplie.net.
I teach in a couple of places. I have my own studio, called Lincoln Street Ballet Studio. This studio is upstairs in a church in Evanston, Illinois, just north of the city of Chicago, and near Northwestern University. I have a lovely core group of very dedicated ladies who’ve been dancing together for decades. When I heard of RAD’s Silver Swans teachers’ training I signed up immediately, (August 2019) as I wanted to make sure I could deliver the best possible classes. I took the class in Montclair, NJ, with Irma Becker. I learned how much I had been doing right, what I might be doing better, and how I could expand my classes to account for a range of ability levels.
I continue to teach this group in person, with limited attendance and masks.
As soon as I posted this new credential on my LinkedIn, a nearby senior center asked me to teach for them. This was my first chance to design a class from scratch for a new group, taking into account their particular needs. I currently teach this class via Zoom, and the YouTube classes are for them to stay caught up during the week, and perhaps squeeze in a little extra dancing at their leisure.
