Tuition Fees and Costs: On-site programmes

The following information relates to fees for entry in Academic Year September 2024/25.

*Registration fees for programmes starting from January 2025 will be £125.

Studying at the RAD, London

Programme Fees 2024/25
BA (Hons) Ballet Education
  • Home students: £7,970 per academic year
  • International students (including EU): £10,950 per academic year
  • £120* registration fee on enrolment
  • £60 audition fee is payable if you are invited to audition for this programme
Typical Programme Costs Recurring Costs (for programme duration)

  • Dancewear & equipment as required £600-£900
  • Travel to and from RAD and Placements £1,500-£4,000 (dependent on student’s term time address)
  • Accommodation £800-£1500 pcm or £8,500-£16,900 per annum depending on the choice of accommodation (individual room, sharing a flat etc)

One-off costs (for programme duration)

  • Syllabus Books/CDs/DVDs £120-£350
  • Additional programme resources £160-£300
Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance
  • Full fee: £1,965 per level
  • RAD Member: £1,595 per level
  • RAD Student: £1,165 per level
  • £125 registration fee on enrolment for those who are not currently on programme

One-off costs (for programme duration)

  • 5-week programme Accommodation rental £800-£1500 pcm or hotel costs £550-£1,700
  • 5-week programme Travel £200-£300 (dependent on student’s address)
  • 5-week programme Subsistence £150-£1,000 (dependent on accommodation choice)
