Our Undergraduate and Postgraduate open days allow you to discover what it’s like to be a student at the Royal Academy of Dance, while our Faculty of Education (FoE) events will support students and graduates as they progress in their studies and careers.

Undergraduate & Postgraduate open days at the RAD, London

At our open days, you will be able to learn much more about the undergraduate or postgraduate programmes that you are interested in.  You will meet current students and staff, join in practical sessions, tour our building and facilities and gather for an informal lunch to find out information on all aspects of life at the RAD should you choose to study with us. UCAS exhibitions/careers fairs 2020

Throughout 2020, the FoE will be present at a number of UCAS exhibitions and careers fairs where we will be promoting our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study to prospective students. If you can’t come and visit us at one of our open days, then do come and see us at one of the exhibitions so you can speak to staff members about the RAD and the programmes that we offer.

In light of the current situation regarding COVID-19, all UCAS exhibitions and careers fairs until October have been postponed. Please note the rescheduled dates below.

Auditions 2019/20

In light of the current situation regarding COVID-19, all on-site auditions for the BA (Hons) Ballet Education and Postgraduate Certificate in Education: Dance Teaching (with QTS) programmes, scheduled to take place at RAD headquarters from 23 March 2020 until the end of the 2019/20 recruitment cycle, will now be delivered via skype interviews, video/photo submissions and written tasks.

The Registry team will be in contact with all applicants that have been invited to audition, to inform you of what you will now be required to submit for the amended audition process.

If you have any questions or concerns about how the auditions will now be conducted, then please email faculty@rad.org.uk.

Audition dates for 2020/21 have been arranged for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education: Dance Teaching (with QTS) and the BA (Hons) Ballet Education but could be subject to change due to applicant numbers and COVID-19. You will be advised which dates are available on successful application.
