Pathways to Registered Teacher Status (RTS)

Since the first delivery of Pathway to Registered Teacher Status in 2017 we have supported ballet teachers from across the world in becoming eligible for RAD RTS. RAD Membership is currently reviewing its eligibility criteria for Registered Teacher Status for dance teachers who already hold a Level 4 or equivalent dance teaching qualification from a different awarding society. This means that Pathways to RTS delivered through the Faculty of Education has been paused.

We appreciate your interest in Pathways to RTS and will provide an update by the end of April 2024. In the meantime, if you hold a Level 4 or equivalent dance teaching qualification from a different awarding society and are interested in RAD Registered Teacher status, please express your interest here and the Membership department will contact you directly.
