The RAD dance school, based at our London headquarters, offers weekly classes start from age 2 upwards. With ballet syllabus and non-syllabus classes, song and dance, street dance, creative and contemporary classes, we provide a range of opportunities that are open to everyone. We also offer the chance to study for GCSE and A Level dance qualifications.
Our Silver Swans initiative provides specially designed ballet classes for older learners, and Project B – our boys-only initiative, is designed to break down stereotypes to show that dance is just as physical and demanding as many sports. Step into Dance brings dance to secondary school students, and RADiate specialises in the delivery of inclusive dance for primary school aged children.
The Academy also presents a variety of one-off workshops and short courses, bursaries and competitions, globally, that cater to all ages and levels of experience; whether experiencing ballet and creative expression for the first time, or requiring additional technique and Examination coaching. We regularly update the What’s On guide with details of all our wrap around activities, including our UK Summer Courses. For details of our international student events, please contact courses@rad.org.uk.
