First Aid for the Dance Studio CPD Workshop

This workshop will include Emergency First Aid at Work, Paediatric CPR and choking, asthma attacks, fractures, muscle injuries, strains and sprains.

Shortly after completion of the workshop, you will receive the following certificates:  

• Emergency First Aid at Work 
• Paediatric First Aid 

Both certificates are valid for three years.

Emergency First Aid at Work

The aims of this workshop are to:

• Understand the role of a First-aider
• Administer First Aid to an unconscious casualty
• Administer CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
• Treat a casualty who is choking
• Administer First Aid to someone who is wounded and bleeding
• Administer First Aid to someone who is suffering a seizure
• Learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

This workshop meets the requirements of the HSE First Aid Regulations 1981 for Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW
