Are you passionate about dance? Our RAD Member category is open to anyone with an interest in dance or the RAD – you don’t need any qualifications to join. Whether you’re learning to leap or a pro at pirouettes, you’ll become part of a worldwide dance community when you join as an RAD Member.

This category is open to everyone; maybe you’re a parent of a budding ballerina, an adult ballet dancer finding their feet again or simply a dance enthusiast! Whatever your purpose, find like-minded people as an RAD Member.

As an RAD Member, you gain access to exclusive content in the Members’ Area, receive monthly e-newsletters straight to your inbox and can use our Global Jobs and For Sale board.


Our digital benefits for RAD Members include an e-membership card sent to all new members once their application has been reviewed. You also can keep up with others in the RAD community by viewing Member News and our new Youth Hub has activities and articles for young dancers aged 7-14.

You can also enter member-only competitions and access the Enhanced Disclosure Service (UK only). When available, you will also receive priority booking on select international events, plus access to the Philip Richardson Library.

The reduced rate is available to members:

  • Under age 18
  • In full-time education (proof required)
  • Over age 65
  • Not currently working (proof required)
  • On Maternity or Adoption Leave (proof required)
