Become an RAD Teacher

Our membership runs for 12 months, we have introduced digital membership cards and teaching certificates that you will receive via email once your application has been approved.

Member Fee and Reduced Rate

The membership fee for an RAD Teacher is £94/€112. A reduced rate of £47/€56 is available.

The reduced rate is available to members in full-time education (proof required), over age 65, not currently working (proof required), on Maternity, Paternity or Adoption Leave (proof required) or retired (proof required).

If you’re applying for the reduced rate we’ll need proof that you’re in full-time education, currently not working, on maternity/paternity/adoption leave or retired. Examples of evidence:

  • proof of full-time education such as a student card with expiry date or letter from college/university
  • doctor’s letter
  • letter from social security office

The evidence should be dated where possible.
