RAD membership runs on a 12 month rolling basis and you will be sent renewal notifications via email or post towards the end of your membership year.

2023/24 Membership Fees

Renewing your membership is quick and easy. Once you renew, you will continue to receive exclusive member offers and discounts including 10% off at the RAD shop^† plus you’ll be invited to an exciting new season of member events for 2023-24, access our member only publication Dance Gazette and relevant communications and resources.

*Members who reside in countries where the currency is the Euro are required to pay their fee in Euros. The currency payable is not optional.
**Concessionary rates are available to Members under the age of 18, over the age of 65, to people in full-time education or people not currently working. Please provide proof.

^† Members get 10% off products in the RAD shop. Teaching members are entitled to 10% off syllabus resources and uniform but 20%* off non-syllabus products excluding eBooks which are subject to 10% discount only.

If you are a Member in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa or the USA, you should contact your National Office for your rate and to arrange payment. All other subscriptions should be paid to the membership department in London.

RAD Safeguarding Requirements for teaching members

While it is your personal responsibility to ensure that you meet the safeguarding requirements of the area that you teach in, our requirements are there to support you by providing a clear standard to follow. You must meet these obligations as a part of your professional membership:

1. Obtain a criminal record check
2. Self-declare any criminal convictions to the RAD
3. Participate in annual safeguarding training as part of your CPD hours

From 1 August 2023 you will be asked to declare that you have met these requirements as part of the membership renewal process.

Don’t worry if you haven’t met all the requirements yet. You can still renew your membership. As your professional membership body, we will support you to meet them. You can find out more about the safeguarding requirements in the Members’ Area including FAQs.

Payments

To pay online, login to the Members’ Area and go to ‘My Payments’ under ‘My Account’. Don’t want to pay online? Take a look at our alternative payment methods:

Pay over the phone
You can pay via credit or debit card over the phone with the Membership team on +44 (0) 20 7326 8070. Our office opening times are Monday-Friday 9.30am-5.30pm BST.

Cheque/Bank Draft
Please ensure you write your RAD ID on the reverse of the cheque. Please note we cannot accept cheques for euro payments. It may take up to 1 month for cheque payments to be processed once received

Bank Transfer
Quote your name and RAD ID as a reference and send a copy of the transfer to the Academy at membership@rad.org.uk so we can ensure your payment is allocated correctly. Failure to do so may result in delays when processing your renewal payment.
