RAD Students receive GCSE and A Level Dance results

The results are in and we are delighted that this year’s RAD students have maintained the high standards achieved in previous years.

Our A Level students all achieved an A*- C grade and our GCSE students all achieved a level between 9-6.

RAD CEO, Tim Arthur commented: ‘Everyone at the Royal Academy of Dance is so proud of our students' achievements. To get an impressive 100% pass rate, especially following two highly disrupted and difficult years, is a testament to their commitment, resilience and talent. On behalf of all of us at the RAD congratulations.’

There are still places available for this year’s A Level and GCSE courses beginning in mid-September.

We provide students with the opportunity to study on Saturdays for a GCSE and A Level Dance. Students often attend the course alongside their other GCSE or A Level subjects that they are taking at their own secondary school. Often this means that students can study dance at this level if it is a subject not currently provided within their school curriculum, as they are able to do this in conjunction with their other studies.

The courses combine practical and written skills with a focus on choreography and performance, as well as analysis and criticism of dance. Many former students tell us that by doing GCSE and A Level Dance with us they have not only developed their practical skills, but they have also learnt how to analyse pieces of choreography while in a friendly, fun atmosphere.

Find out more about both courses on our Dance Studies page.
